Studies from across the country confirm the connection between domestic violence and homelessness and suggest ways to end the cycle in which violence against women leads to life on the streets. Tragically, domestic violence is not a gender specific issue and ultimetely, the homelss population includes people of all walks of life and an array of age ranges. You should know that Attorney General Rob Bonta shared invaluable life-saving tools to protect yourself from your abuser by requesting domestic violence restraining orders and gun violence restraining orders.
